I believe each of us has dignity and is worthy of respect and love. My mission is to meet you where you are, and guide and support you on your journey—wherever you come from and wherever you are going. I am particularly sensitive to and supportive of individuals navigating their path within the context of their religious or cultural traditions or faith community. My job is to treat the whole person, helping you to heal and grow from the inside out and the outside in.

From the inside out

I use a variety of therapeutic tools and techniques, from cognitive-behavioral therapy to play therapy to mindfulness. Yet the longer I work, the more I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is more important than any particular expertise or academic degree. My primary concern is building a warm relationship based on trust, respect, honesty, curiosity, and genuine care for your well being—that’s when the healing begins.

From the outside in

This often means connecting you with additional providers or professionals to help meet your (and your family’s) needs. I have an extensive network of trusted colleagues in fields ranging from occupational therapy, EMDR, custody attorneys, physical therapists, pediatricians, primary care physicians, and psychiatrists.
